Only 12 nations attended these games in St. Louis. Corrie Gardner was the only Australian to compete at St. Louis. He didn't progress past his heat of the 120 yard hurdles. There were no accomodation arrangements, Corrie was directed to a tent community in a park for the duration of his stay.
